I am having trouble cleaning my mason jars, water bottles, blender, pyrex etc.
and especially THE LIDS

It just seems that green smoothie / soups etc are especially sticky and hard to get off around the tight edges.

Granted my dish washer kind of blows but i pre-rinse/wash etc

I am now soaking stuff over-night in vinegar rinses but not getting great results....considering switching to bleach BLECH

anyone have any super solutions??

Yes, use an oil like olive oil, sunflower oil, etc. It will dissolve the hardened plant matter. Soak a paper towel in oil and lay it on the part overnight, then wash/scrub.

i have tried that trick before but not with a paper towel. good idea. i was "soaking" things before and it was an obscene waste of oil!

I hope it works for you. I've had success with it on plastic and stainless juicer parts. Do you have a stiff bristled bottle brush? It might help to scrub some of the oil into the stains with a brush @ mid soak. Good luck and let us know if it works out.
