Oh! I forgot goji berries! I keep meaning to put them in my smoothies...but I end up eating them all straight out of the bag. :o:p

Also, I've seen Matt Monarch and others blend salads as a meal...so there's an option for you as well.

sundried tomatoes - soups, marinara sauce
apples - for applesauce, smoothies
zucchini - raw pasta
cilantro
stevia
lemon - my daughter loves fresh squeezed lemon aid sweetened with stevia
cold pressed extra virgin olive oil - gazpacho, marinara sauce
coconut oil - put it in my smoothies, plan to make some deserts with it
himalyan pink salt
cayenne
basil
chives
parley
cinnamon

In addition to the "staples" listed why don't you decide what recipes you are going to make and make sure you have those ingredients?

My bare-bones, always on hand staples:

avocado
oranges
lemons
nuts and seeds
tomatoes
romaine
carrots

I've found if I stock up too much I can't use it all and I hate food going to waste.

Good luck!

Annie

BTW - The green smoothie idea at work is great. My only caveat for people who aren't raw (yet!) is to be sure they are sweet enough.

Definitely! My family has gotten used to the "green" taste of the green smoothies and I didn't realize that until I made a green smoothie for my stepdad. I thought it was so tasty, but it was NOWHERE near sweet enough for him. I ended up adding a ton of fruit so that he could drink it. lol. It was his first, though.
