help pests love my organics too!

this may be a stupid question but...

what can I do about pests that won't easily rinse off of my organic leafy purchases such as kale? Sorry to gross anybody out, but it happens pretty regularly, especially with the greens. It's irritating! :mad:

should I return them? scrub every single leaf? or just forget about it and enjoy??? It's harmless (to me, not tha critter :D ) right? added protein and unavoidable with all foods cooked or raw? yes?

I've always wondered this but didn't want to ask! :p

Fill a bowl with water and add a little viniger (cheap stuff will do). The critters should come to the top. I do a thorough inch by inch inspection of mine because for me being vegan comes before all else.

I'll try that plan! - I'm a staunch vegan too! but these little unhatched colonies are clung on so tight and I almost didn't see them because they are so small and mother nature has them camoflauged so well! The thought of accidentlly ingesting some was really creeping me out! Makes me wonder...
Anyhow, all the raw carrots must have given me great eyesight today! :p
