Rich in protein, antioxidants and minerals, this raw vegan energy mix is the best pick-me up around. No refined flour pretzels baked in hydrogenated fat here!

Ingredients (serves 2)

- 1/2 cup goji berries
- 1/3 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs

Directions:
Toss the ingredients together and keep in a small reusable bag for a quick and easy snack!

hahaha hard to believe someone needs a recipe for this. i just grab handfuls of different things... toss in some nibs and off i go.

what i'd like to make eventually though is the nuts that are coated... i've bought them before but they are way too strong in flavour - i'd love to make my own.

Coated nuts are delicious! I made some ginger maple pumpkin seeds from Raw Food Real World and they were really good. I sent some to my aunt, who loved them too :)

It's a simple recipe, but great for beginner's I think! Someone asked what snacks you can eat on raw, and I thought about this recipe. ;)

I love this mix! When I initially started my journey this was my go to snack!! My daughter used to request it be her snack for school as well. GREAT snack! Sometimes I even get the cacao dusted goji berries and throw in the mix. YUM!

Alissa, I know you are way farther on this journey than I am, but here's what I do. If you want sweet nuts, marinate them in honey or agave seasoned with whatever floats your boat: cinnamon, vanilla, etc. For savory nuts, marinate in Bragg's or Nama Shoyu with cayenne, garlic, onion, etc. You need to be careful here because they can get pretty salty.

Also, Alissa's Nut Brittle would be wonderful here. Just break it up into small enough pieces. If you haven't tried it, I hope you will. It is fantastic!
