ok my FP broke so im on the lookout for a newone. eventually i was hoping to get a blender that would actually blend my greens and stuff like a Vitamix/ktec would so that they are fully blended, not in pieces, but now i actually have seen a blender/fp combination that is 1000 watts. thats pretty good right? does this mean it would do the job like a VM? or does it depend on the blade rotations per minute? i cant find the specifications for the blade rotations anywhere online for this specific FP/blender. basically its one base and you can put either the FP or blender on it. so im thinking maybe if i got this, then i woudl have both my new FP that i need covered, AND the high speed blender covered....?

but i dont know if powerful blenders depend on wattage, or on blade speed...?

thanks

it won't do the job of a vita-mix but anything above 800 watts will do a good job on a smoothie!
