Looking for kelp noodles in the Lower Mainland,BC.

has anyone seen these? Any specific health food or whole food stores? Not sure where to start, as I have not seen them in my local stores. Any ideas would be great.

Are the kelp noodles tasty? I find zukes are okay but I am looking for a different taste....

i don't know if they are tasty but yes you can pick them up from them directly!

You can also order from here (http://realrawfood.com/products). They are from BC. Also, Whole Foods carries them, and probably Choices, too. Go to your favourite health food store and order the kind you like.

I will do my best to make it to their store today as I will be in the big city. I asked at my local health food store and the lady looked at me like I was weird for asking for kelp noodles and cacoa butter. I guess they do sound like a weird combo;)

I've been there a couple times. They have a raw food bar with raw sushi, pizza, etc.. And of course smoothies and juices.....

I plan to go this weekend to stock up before the Olympics start. Their store is right next to all the action!

And I do love the kelp noodles, I ate the mermaid pasta salad for dinner tonight from here: http://earthmother-intheraw.blogspot.com/2008/11/nourished-by-sea.html
I also use them inside spring rolls, they are kinda like those vermicelli or rice noodles.

I cycled through there on my bike tour. GORGEOUS country! The Othello tunnels were a definite highlight, as was the old railway village of Bankeir.

I just there tonight and their nachos were very good !
We also had ceasar salad which my boyfriend loved (more than mine that I make which is Alissa Cohen's, I love Alissa's more)
The lasagna which was ok, and the zucchini pasta which was also ok.
We had a strawberry and raspberry smoothie which is obviously very good and we also tried 3 of their desserts: the ganache which was OMG the best, the chocolate cashew cheesecake- very good and the two mouse pie- was ok.

We cant wait to go again which will be around Valentine's day and bring my boyfriend's mom with us and a few friends!!
So far we really like it :)

and yup bike... this is some gorgeous country!!! i am literally surrounded by mountains... i go for a walk around the block and see mountains everywhere... how gorgeous - i looooooooooooove where i live!

Yes that's where I went.
It is an all raw, all organic, all vegan restaurant.
It is much bigger than Gorillaz. They have quite the operation going there. They also have lots of goodies you can buy to take home like frozen young thai coconut water in bottles right from thailand (from their own farm) that has not been bleached or processed in any way!

Cant wait to go again in a week or so!!
