I just got my lurch spiralo the other day, and its amazing! Making zucchini pasta is such a great way to eat zucchini. I introduced it to my family, and they're now all fans as well.
Anybody else have one? Alternative recipes?

Its a vertical vegetable slicer. For now I use mine to make 3mm strands of "spaghetti" out zucchini. You can also make thicker 5mm strands or curled slices. If you type in "lurch spiralo" you can see a demo video...its what sold me on it.
I watched John Kohler's video several days back and really liked what I saw! I love kitchen gadgets, but I've got other gadgets that do most of what this does, except the waffle chips - so I decided to pass for now.
It was interesting how you can mix and match the blades to come up with even more cuts. It sure looks neat and I'm glad you're enjoying it! *Ü*

Yep that's the one! Love it. Only down side, was the price. Shipping alone was 25 UK pounds, which was more than the Spiralo itself. I'm going to buy some more, so hopefully I will get a discount.

Where are you at? And where did you buy it?
I bought mine from the UK and it cost me £41 including shipping to Sweden. It's £36 pounds inside UK.
I love it though! Hands down the best spiral slicer I've used in that price range.
It's easy to use and clean. It's also very easy to store compared to the horizontal ones since it's so compact.
There's also less waste since it doesn't leave the middle part of the veggies.
White plastic is a poor choice for such a gadget though, since veggies like carrots and beets will easily stain it. And I do wish that it had a blade for even thinner noodles. But those are my only two "complaints".

Discountjuicers does not sell them anymore. It's listed as currently unavailable.
While researching how to get one, I contacted Lurch about finding a retailer who sold them and this is the reply I got...
"Dear Mr. Wight,
Many thanks for your renewed e-mail. As we do not supply our products direct to Canada ant the USA, there’s no possibility for purchase LURCH articles in the USA and Canada.
We regret being unable to provide to you any positive information.

Having said, that I had to buy from a UK online store, and have it shipped to Canada. The shipping to North America from the UK is quite a bit though. Not to mention the conversion in currencies. I'm going to order more so the shipping is more cost effective.

Oh, that's too bad, I wasn't aware of that.
