Hi, I used to eat like 15 bananas a day and enjoy them. I did that for about a year and then for some reason I just can't seem to enjoy them anymore! They taste way too sweet to me! I used to love the sweetness of bananas! Now the only kind of fruits I can enjoy are fruits that have alot of water in them or fruits that aren't as sweet, like - canalope, watermelon, honeydew, kiwi, oranges, strawberries, some apples, pears, peaches and nectarines. The only thing it takes alot more of those fruits to fill me up and because of how light they are, I would be eating all day ( or inleast every hour, which is hard when your not home 24-7).
Plus I don't have the money to order organic fruits and we don't have a organic store that close by, the closest is about 45 minutes away! So I have to buy my food at wal-mart or another growcery store! I wish I could get organic because I know they have a lot more nutrition and flavore in them! I just hopes everyone understands!
I'm trying to find a way to get me enough carbs, because for some reason these fruits don't give me the energy and fillment the bananas do! So my energys going down if I end up doing a little more then I normally do! Like taking a extra 30 walk or rebounding 20 minutes instead of doing yoga for 20 minutes. I'm trying to stay away from nuts because they cause my face to break out and I seem to do better when I keep my fats at a low level- like around 15-20% the most!
Does anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks in advance for you info and time! Have a great day! Blessings,
Melindaxl

You should not beat yourself up over not buying organic. The stuff in WalMart is probably fresher because of the fast turnover and freshness counts for a lot. You should get yourself some of the pestiside remover (dont know what the brand names over there are but someone can tell you) and wash your produce in it. That will help a lot. Maybe you can still eat bananas if you put them in green smoothies. The bitterness of the greens will counterballance the sweetness of the bananas.

Thanks for the info! I do green smoothies with banans, but if I do too many of them they cause me to gain weight for some reason, so I try to stick to only one green smoothie a day! Sport do you know where I could look for the pestiside remover at? I don't see it by the produce when ever I shop!
Sport your right, sometimes I do get to hard on myself when I feel I'm not doing as good as other people or getting as good of food as other people! I just want to get my fat's back down and replace them with more sweet fruits and greens!!
Thank you both for your info! Have a great day! Blessings,

I cant help you with the pesticide remover because I live in Ireland. When I lived in Tampa I bought it in Cash and Cary but then they stoped carrying it so I would take it back from here with me after a trip. I would expect that any health food store would have it. Buy the concentrate and dilute it yourself. It is cheaper that way. I hope that someone can tell you where to find it.

Thanks, I'll just ask around, I'm sure someone around here could tell me where to get it, I just have to find that person!! The way you talked about Wal-mart- I thought that's where you got it, so I thought you would know where it was.
Also thanks for telling me the more cheaper way to get it!! I'm sure that will save me some money!! Thanks again, Blessings,

I see it all the time but don't use it. Peroxide (from wal-mart) does just fine. Try asking at the stores you shop at.

The peroxide is good for removing the germs and bacteria but I do not know if it works on pesticide and chemicals. The veg wash has been developed to remove them and hold them in suspension. I am more afraid of the chemicals than the germs.
