My 1st LIVE Vita Mix demonstration!!!!!

I leave work today and my daughter and I run to Whole Foods to pick up a few things. We're walking through the produce section when what do I see???? A lady all set up giving a VITA MIX DEMONSTRATION! I literally stopped in my tracks, gasped and then walked at the quickest pace I could! I think I heard the heavens open and choirs sing!!!! :p

I was SOOOO excited! I was so excited, I pretty much took over her demo :o, as I helped talk people into buying one. I was so excited that one lady said that she must've planted me there. I had never seen the lady before in my life, I was just so stoked! I couldn't help but share my joy. We were there for 2.5 hours watching and talking, meeting other Vita Mix owners and swapping recipes. It was soooooooooooo great. I have had a horrible week at work and this was a fabulous way to end my week!

I know I sound crazy, but that really made my week and now I'll all geeked up and ready to make some RAWKIN food this weekend!!!

LOL I'm so glad I've found someone who can understand! The first time is beyond awesome, isn't it?? I haven't come down from my "high" yet! :p

I was calling people from the parking lot of WF and they just didn't understand. As I drove home all I could think about was getting on RFT so I could tell you all. I KNEW my raw food family would understand my joy! hahahaha

oh my gosh you all NEED to buy this machine. do you have any idea how much weight i've released? i drink a green smoothie daily... and on and on i went LOL

Oh Aleesha, I am so with you!! :p I totally took over, I didn't mean to...I just couldn't help myself! I was telling people how I use mine everyday at least 3 times a day and everyone was like, "Really???" LOL Oh I went on and on, it was awesome!!! hahahahaha I told them how to make smoothies MINUS the fruit concentrate the she used, how to sneak kale and all sorts of veggies in on their kids, how they didn't need the agave if they use really ripened bananas...oh the tips I gave and the joy I shared. hahahaha I stayed until she shut down the demo and was literally packing up! I know she was glad when I left...but I made her some money!!! :D

Oh I forgot to tell y'all how I told them, "This is the best thing I've EVER purchased, I use it more than I ever used my stove in a day!" "You won't regret it, it turns your kitchen into a playground!" Oh my, I was out of control!!!! hahahahaha

Something like that can make my day or week too when things aren't going well. I probably would've been also raving about it and would've drove the salesperson crazy since likely they wouldn't be raw and probably wouldn't understand all my recommendations. :p Hey it's a great way to make extra money if you need it. They should give you commission and you can show up at various demos.

Mine was actually bought at a demo years before I became raw and was barely used until I was. I was so glad someone had bought it then since my raw journey has been so easy with it.

I got to thinking as I was leaving...I could TOTALLY do that! I am SUPER passionate about raw food and my Vita Mix, I could sell those babies with my eyes closed! My daughter agreed...she laughed, but she agreed! :p

I said I was going to look into finding out how to go about it, so I seriously need to get on it. How AWESOME would it be to do Vita Mix demonstrations, to sell a product that has helped change my life so much!??!?! I get all worked up just THINKING about it! *stops to fan myself* :eek:

...as for the commission, you're so right! She should've cut me a check for my help (though unsolicited lol) tonight!

Did you get a deal..... I bought Montel's machine and have been pleased with it so far. I am reading now that they have limited life span. Did you buy it on line? TIA......................
