I'm a 38yr old homemaker. I'm 5 foot tall and according to BMI index I pretty obese. I've been raw for 2 weeks (14 days). I have lost 14lbs already. I didn't start working out until day 12, quite frankly because I didn't feel good enough. It is amazing how well I feel and how quickly the body goes to work to heal itself. I know a lot of the weight loss was water, but indeed; it was water that needed to go. I was swelled up with inflamation, and now that it is gone I am more flexable and have more movement. I started going to the gym for treadmill and biking. Keep in mind I'm not use to much excercise at all. I also starting to workout at home with a kettlebell. There really is nothing that will stop me at this point. I feel so free already, just because I know that changes are coming soon. I eat simple organic foods and don't do any fancy dishes. I am determined to push through to my goal. My acne is gone! It is amazing what can be done in just 2 weeks. I cook SAD for my family and have remained steadfast on raw. I give all the glory to God because without him giving me strength, I would not be able to do it. So if you are reading this and thinking about making the switch, just commit to two weeks and in just 14 days you will never want to go back. Raw Rocks.
