Hi, im new to this forum but have been eating raw for about a month now with no restrictions in attempt to cure candida. In certain aspects i have been feeling better, though the symptoms which i believe are linked to my candida have yo yoed between getting better and worse. I therefore believe there is a piece to the puzzle which i am missing- fat. Ive been doing research about fat being the cause of candida and it really seems to fit into the way ive been feeling. So I am soon going to go on a raw vegetable + fruit only diet for at least 30 days to try it- no harm in trying it right? and if it doesnt work then i will go back to raw with no fat restriction.
So i had a few questions for people who have had success with this type of extreme low fat/protein diet against candida before i dive into it:
Should you eat fruits/vegetables at seperate meals? Because i was thinking about green smoothies mixed with fruit as being a big part of my diet, and i also enjoy salads with fruit in them.
Is there a ratio you should try to keep between fruits/veggies, Could you eat 100% fruit some days if thats what you feel like?
Also, How do you get enough calories with this? (im male) Just to maintain my weight before (im not one who wants to lose weight) i was eating about 2300-2500 a day and the only fruit that is really calorie rich are bananas.
If you have anything else to input that helped you or that you think might help me would also be greatly greatly appreciated!
Thanks for your time.
