...posting early because today is going to be busy.
6AM Workout: Hour and a half of cardio. I felt amazing afterwards.
Breakfast: Two oranges and half a cantulope.
Brunch: Spinach, tomato, cucumber, almonds (10) and strawberry dressing salad.
Planned Snack: Almonds (10) and orange
Planned Dinner: Same as lunch.

Day 13 and I am down 5 pounds--STILL.. <sigh> I hope things kick in for the 2nd half of the month..And yeah.. I know my body may be working on other stuff, too.. But I am pretty healthy, as far as I know, other than allergies.
Well, I will keep going to the gym and hope for the best. Drinking water before I go to the gym. Not hungry now, but I will have a banana anyway before working out..

I feel goooood!!! I've definitely noticed my mood is still pretty darn good, even when I'm having a "bad" day. And my skin, oh my skin...it's almost clear! After almost TWO YEARS of constant acne, 9 days on raw, and my skin is almost clear. If I'd only known two years ago!
Today's food so far:
Smoothie: spinach, banana, 1 tbs tahini, 1/2 tbs honey, cocoa powder (the tahini gives it a nice, rich flavor. This is my favorite smoothie, by far, right now.)
3 raw chocolate chip cookies (these turned out SO well)
1 date
1 nori wrap with Alissa's sunny pate (I think that's what it's called?) with lettuce and cucumber.
PLUS, I've twice had the chance to go off raw (one was an offer to eat Japanese--my absolute favorite, and other was to go to Cracker Barrell.) But I have managed to stay raw so far. It's not as difficult to maintain this way of eating, considering how much better I feel. (Check back in a few months. Ha!)

How much weight have you all lost since 1/1? I have only lost 5, and that was within the first 4 days.. Trying to make sure I get in more waters..

I am hoping you all will not mind if I join you. I am starting my 30 day, 100% raw challenge today... and that will last until February 13th. I have been very scared and doubtful about my personal ability to complete 30 full days on raw. Then yesterday, while lurking around the boards, I read about another member's philosophy when they began their 30 day challenge. She said she would try it, 100%, and give it her all. If after 30 days she did not feel better, or enjoy this way of eating, she could go back to her old ways. That is the deal I have now made with myself. I have no doubt that this will be difficult, but I now also have no doubt that I can do it if I put my mind to it.
Day 1:
B- smoothie (spinach, 1 banana, water)
S- banana
L- avocado & apple
S- berries
D- salad with veggies & fruit

Feel pretty rough today - but I suspect that has more to do with outdoor plumbing exploits at midnight, in the snow at minus temperatures and getting soaked by the burst pipe, that it has to do with food!
Food today:
B: Smoothie (spinach, banana, apple, orange)
S: Macadamias
L: Nakd bar
D: Alissa's Pad Thai (which I thought was ok, but Mrs G didn't like at all)
S: 2 squares raw choc
Weightloss since 1/1 now 10lbs...and since I started eating more raw is 25lbs - am well chuffed with that:)

I have been dibbing and dabbing in raw foods since March 2009. I lost 29 pounds in 30 days on living and raw foods. I felt vibrant and alive. I have fell off but do not want to take the plunge of falling and staying off so I started my 30 day raw food challenge today and looking forward to staying on but inch by inch is a cinch but yard by yard is hard!
B - raw buckwheat cereal with pineapple & pear sauce with 5 seed milk
S - raw oatmeal cookies
L - small raw pizza with pesto &green smoothie
D - green smoothie & salad

Congratulations to those who has lost weight this month! I haven't gotten on the scale yet because I'm sure that I will become obsess with it.
Hey, I'm not craving anything ! I can't believe it ! I was looking at a pizza commercial and it didn't move me at all...
B: scoop wheat grass and grounded flaxeed w/water
L: 3 cups blended green Kale and 1/2 cup mixed berries
S: 3 cups blended green kale and 1/2 cup mixed berries
D: broccoli, cucumbers, cashews, garlic and salsa salad
(S: smoothie 1 cup mixed berries , maybe I didn't do this last night)

L: V8 smoothie, cashew swiss cheese and tomatoes on onion/flax bread
S: cashews
D: huge salad with raw caesar dressing
S: raw choc ice cream
Oh dear I missed my foods for yesterday, totally forgot to post them :o
Today has been a sad day, our little doggie left this world today :(
Lots water
3 flax crackers with avo
3 dates
6 Brazil nuts
Dinner will be a lovely mixed salad with mango :)

Oh, JayB, I'm so, so sorry to hear that. Dogs are such wonderful members of the family. =-( Sending you sympathy thoughts.
