When people use sprouted buckwheat for granolas, are we talking about the hulled or unhulled varieties? The shells on the unhulled seem pretty hard, so I was a little concerned about fail.
I only use the hulled - no hulls. I soak, sprout and dehydrate for granola. That's all I've ever used it for so far.
I did order some unhulled because I think that's what I'll need to plant for buckwheat greens. At least I hope it is, otherwise... (gulp). *Ü*

The unhulled will definitely bring you greens, I did a whole patch in my yard to add organic matter to my soil.
