I'm rejoining the board as well as the raw lifestyle after a bif of a hiatus. I joined this board almost exactly two years ago. Hubby J and I plus our four kids went raw for a while and we all felt better almost immediately. We gradually started getting off of it until we were not only no longer raw but we were no longer vegetarian (with the exception of my oldest daughter Destiny, she's been veggie for almost 3 years)
In the past two years I have suffered from an ectopic pregnancy, as well as many miscarriages. My weight has spiraled out of control (I'm up to 280lbs) and I'm suffering from depression, anxiety, as well as other things. I KNOW my diet is the main cause; I eat like crap.
This go round I'm not worrying about anyone but myself.. I will fix the raw food and if noone else eats it, I can't make them. If I make something and they don't like it but I do, I will continue eating it and not give up. My children I can control to a point, but my husband I cannot. He has diabetes and is on insulin shots twice a day, but he has to be the one to change that.
