View Full Version : Mojo Juice Club Raw Recipes DVD?

When I was at Raw Spirit Fest this past year I met Kephra Anu and tasted his delicious raw food (he's in the DC area). So in early December I ordered his 3 DVD set of raw recipes. Unfortunately, not only did I never receive them, I've called three times and emailed three times since and no one has gotten back to me. I guess since it's been a month now I'll have to open a PayPal dispute to try to get my payment back. It's unfortunate, because his food tasted really, really good and the recipes looked great and I'm always up for learning more techniques.

Anyone ever successfully order from Mojo Juice Club?

Not to make excuses for a guy I don;t know but my guess is that he been out the country at a retreat and if the business end of his raw coachign servie is a one man show then he may not even be around to fill your order.

I live in DC and ordered his DVDs awhile back. It took longer than I expected, but they did come. He is a one-man operation, and from Dec. 29, 2009 through Jan. 2 he was leading a retreat in Puerto Rico.

So nice if someone who runs a business alone uses one of those automatic response emails eh? Just to let you know they've received your email and can't respond.

Gotta love technology.

Of course, leaving an outgoing message on your answering machine letting customers know is also a good thing...

Well the confusing part for me was that I ordered two things from him and one arrived immediately and the DVDs never arrived - and he was having a retreat in DC from mid-Dec on, so there were about 3 weeks where I could have received the DVDs. And I did leave messages and didn't hear anything back.

The good news is he did just email me and say he was in Puerto Rico and would be shipping the DVDs out now.

Yeah, I am all about supporting the small business person - especially the ones spreading the good word of raw! - but it is helpful if people consider the customer experience, too. All's well that ends well, tho. My lesson is to take more $$$ to Raw Spirit Fest when all these wonderful recipes are available in person so I don't have to order them online. :)
