I just found out my brother has the start of macular degeneration. I'm not sure which kind he has. Does eating a raw diet help with that problem? I have read that raw improves eye sight. Any info available on the subject?

I'm sure it'll help in some degree. Going raw will NEVER hurt anyone, so it doesn't hurt to try right?

I have detached retina in my left eye, too bad to operate (as If I would do that anyway), but when I eat raw, My eyesight is almost perfect, and I can see, when I eat cooked, even a bit, I am totally blind in my left eye.
Also, my right eye is improving too, I now can read without glasses, in fact I have to put my glasses on the end of my nose if I want to see at all.
These are the same perscription, I've had for over 15 years.
I do have a new perscription, that I got last year, then I went raw, and couldn't wear them at all.
So, raw is good for eyes.
