Is it necessary to wash wheatgrass prior to juicing?

or is it a pretty clean item?
I buy it in 1 lb bags - typically I have not been washing it prior to juicing

Hi ~ I grow my own trays of WG and yes, I do wash them because I typically have mold down on the top of the growing medium. So, I cut above the mold and blast it with the kitchen sink sprayer and then juice.

I've never bought a bag of WG though. For me though, to be honest - I'd probably just juice it and call 'r good. *Ü*

I grow my own and always wash mine with an organic veggie wash and double rince it.

I wash it every time as well. Takes a few sec. Makes me feel better.
