Hi! I could not for the life of me work out where to post this so I put it in here... :S

here's the deal: I'm going to be in America (specifically the bay area, Oakland CA) for 3 months this coming summer as part of my year out before college. I will have a j1 visa that will allow me to legally work in the US.

I do want to work out there but I only have 2 different areas I'm experienced in: waitressing and hairdressing!

My question is do you know of any raw food cafes or restaurants in the bay area that would a) Employ an 18 year old from England who DOES have waitressing experience and b) employ someone on a 3 month only contract.

What do you guys think? I think it would be a great opportunity for me to work in a raw-foods only environment :)

Thoughts?

There are several restaurants out there..can't think of names. Do a search for them, contact & send your resume...good luck. great experience.

Yes, alot of places hire seasonal help for the summer, this would probably work out well for you!
