Winter raw foods in Germany

I am planning to visit Germany December 2010. What foods can I expect to be in season (or available, but not too expensive)?

Sauerkraut :p
Local produce would mostly be apples and hardier veggies like cabbage, root vegetables, kale etc.
But you'll also find things like citrus fruits and avocados cheap since they are in season in Spain.
