Day 2 for me.
Green Smoothie - spinach, banana, clementine, apple, flax oil, apricots
Piece of Walnut Fudge
And - well I kind of had time on my hands so took on making:
Lasagne with pine nut ricotta, pistachio pesto, a sun dried tomato sauce and beefsteak tomatoes and courgette layers, with a side salad. It was unbelievable - best lasagne I've ever made (either meat or vegetarian).
and finished off with a piece of raw apple pie.
Both me and Mrs Gecko are stuffed now but feel great :)

Sounds amazing Gecko--glad you and Mrs. Gecko enjoyed it!
Day 2 for me is going well. Here's the food so far:
1- 7 AM-Orange
2- 10 AM-was really hungry after my trip to Trader Joes and had: sugar snap peas, the rest of the zucchini hummus, cherry tomatoes, 1/4 avocado, flax cracker.
3-Green Smoothie: frozen banana, pear, baby spinach, raw honey, water, ice.
If hungry later will most likely have more fruit, maybe another pear--they are ripe and so good!

Today is also my day 2. I almost flubbed day 1 by procrastinating on the trip to the grocery store. :)
I'm a rather busy person so my food choices are pretty basic. I do want to try some of the recipes later, but I'm waiting 30 days before getting a dehydrator.
Today I ate:
apples (gala & fuji, I'm an appleaholic), bananas, broccoli slaw with some raw acv on it and sprouts, and almonds.
I am curious about hummus. Are the organic, canned chickpeas raw? I assumed they were cooked. Also, what do you mix IN the chickpeas? After this initial two-week period I also plan to pick up Alissa's book.
I'm excited about starting this process. I know that my body is very acidic and plan to recheck that in a couple of weeks to see if it changes. I have a lot to learn, but not a lot of time to devote to it.. so I'll learn as I go.
I look forward to meeting all of you!

day 2 of jan...
at my in-laws and took my own food.
i actually am not feeling great eating all the fats in the dressing etc and it doesn't do so well for my blood sugars so feel that God is (again) leading me back to simple, simple raw fruits and veggies only.
starting a green smoothie challenge tomorrow and see how that goes. right now i am not a fan of plain greens.
today- romaine lettuce, caesar dressing from alissa's book, almond butter, honey.
good night.

JayB, I have heard that about detoxing. I felt like crying yesterday but it was only my first day so I'm guessing it was because I've realized that I have to sit next to my fiancee as he eats everything on the planet. But I'm glad that i'm doing this, this is for me and my body needs to heal.
B: 1 cup blended red kale, grounded Flaxseed, wheat grass, apple and cranberry smoothie
L: Green tea, broccoli, red kale, pistachio, dried cranberries salad with lemon juice dressing
S: 1 tiny clementine
D: boysenberries, raspberries, blueberry smoothie
raw journey

I woke up this morning and felt light and so glad about eating only raw yesterday.
Today I had:
4 bananas
2 pears
1 broccoli stalk dipped in tahini sauce ( raw tahini, lemon juice, Bragg's, water)
3 grated carrots with tahini sauce
3 Green Chocolate Dream balls from Superfood Snacks
2 pieces of agave cacao chocolate from go raw
1 pumpkin seed bar
I tomorrow I shall make pumpkin seed flax seed crackers with sun dried tomatoes.
I stocked up with different raw sweet treats to able to cope with any craving and realized I actually craved more savory food.
Gecko your dishes sound phenomenal.
Good luck to everyone
