I saw a youtube video with a recipe for a green smoothie. It was cucumbers, pineapple, and raspberry. Do you think this would count as a green drink? Or is cucumber not dark green? BTW it was incredibley awesome :)

no - greens need to be leafy greens, kale. collard, spinach, chard, etc...
cuke are wonderfully healthy though in their own way, so no regrets!
what was your combo?

2 cucumbers
2 cups frozed pineapple
couple handuls of strawberry slices (I didn't have any raspberries)
1/2 cup of water
I just blended everything up in the blendtec. I should have waited for the pineapple to thaw, becasue it was a little to much like a frozen summer drink. (It was -10 degrees f )But it was really really good anyway, I just had to take a hot bath when I was finished !!
Hi, I think cucs are a fruit, right?

If it was all about color you could get off using kiwi as your greens. :D Or that smilie there. Or like this whole forum look around you.

That recipe is in the "Smoothie Recipes for Optimum Health" book.
Never seen it described as a green smoothie. But it is a great cooling summer drink! Wouldn't drink it this time of the year though.
