I'm Going Raw Today!

Hello! I took the entire year of 2009 to prepare for going raw.

I started experimenting with plant based diets when I was 18 in early 2003, I went vegetarian when I was 21 in late 2005, I went vegan when I was 23 in early 2008 and now I'm going raw!

My short term goals are to lose weight, clear up my psoriasis and have more energy.
My long term goals are to help prevent disease.

I just read through the first couple of entries on your blog, and they made me smile. All the 'lasts' you mentioned, and most of them are my weaknesses also! I want 2009 to be a raw year for me, too. I look forward to reading more from you. Good luck!

I know something else that will help with your psoriasis, my daughter's herbal salves that she makes. She has a chickweed salve, and I asked her if it would help, and she said yes. Here is her site with the different salves she makes, http://cherokeeroseherbal.weebly.com/

Here is what is in the chickweed salve..
A great remedy for insect bites, ant bites, stings, and any itchy ailment.
Ingredients: Chickweed, Comfrey, Plantain, Olive Oil, and Beeswax. 1 oz. tin.

My mom has used the St. John's Wort salve and all of her age spots on her hands have disappeared, and her hands look so young!!

Well guys, I just gave in to pizza (vegan, but not raw).

I'm still going to be into raw, I'm just not going to eat 100% raw.
