I am so excited to start the 2010 with the monthly challenge. I hope this will be a strong start for a blissful raw new year. Good luck to all of you who are choosing this way of transformation.

Today so far I had 2 bananas,

and I plan to finish the day with

carrot cucumber beet juice - the Norman Walker liver and kidney cleanser - and some green juice of parsley, dandelion, kale, rainbow chard, celery, and red clover sprouts.

Salad (romaine, corn, cucumber, celery, quinoa, red pepper, sprinkle of mixed nuts, lime & herb dressing)
1 piece of Alissas walnut fudge (awesome!)

I couldn't wait for the 1st of January, so it's my day 6 today. I have to agree with Gecko, Alissa's walnut fudge is amazing!

Today I experienced my first craving for a green drink. So I'm about to make one with kale, savoy cabbage, baby spinach, celery, cucumber and apple.

Good luck everyone!

I'm a little late, as it's past midnight but I was in as soon as it turned 2010! I was 100% raw for a few weeks in December and fell off the wagon for a few days and am back on and going strong!
good luck everyone!

Gecko.... welcome and best to you. Your lime herb dressing caught my eye. I'm always on the lookout for dressing ideas.

What did you put in? Is it one of Alissa's recipes ... did you come up with it yourself?

Looking to hear back 'cause it sure sounds yummy!!!

I can claim no credit for it! It's from Jennifer Cornbleet's book - EVOO, juice of a lime, mix of herbs (I used basil, oregano & parsley), a little garlic and a little salt/pepper. It's very good, easily a match for the balsamic vinaigrette that I used to make.

hi i was at my in-laws for the new year and took my food with me...don't remember exactly what on which days but it included romaine, caesar dressing from alissa's book, dried apples, almond butter, and honey.
i was going to start the green smoothie challenge on jan 1 but it didn't work so well with the family holiday so will start it tomorrow (jan 3).
i started my 30 days 100% raw in the middle of december so will continue it into january. at the end of my 30 days my hubby will discuss the possibility of a vitamix with me.
love
