I just realized this morning that if I want to accomplish all I have set out to do, that I need to lessen my time on the computer. I feel secure in my own raw food lifestyle so don't need the boards as much as I did when I started, so I want to have more time to pursue fitness and bible reading to meet my 2010 goals. So I will be gone at least 90 days, then will re-evaluate. I am always available by email and have that option enabled on this board. Have a great new year everyone!

OMG! I might do the same thing. I really need to focus on music so I think I'm gonna take a hiatus myself with the computer/ tv/ facebook/ listening to music!

Blessings :)

Oooh yes - I do spend *a lot* of time on this computer!

Since I quit smoking years ago, I use it as my cigarette break - ha.

Happy New Year and best wishes with your resolutions. I've made a few of them myself. *Ü*

I totally understand, I have to do the same with the computer periodically. I wish you all the best with your goals for the new year! Much happiness, prosperity and love for you and your family!

I make time to do it all. :D

Again, I am in awe :)

Just a note: I haven't had a television for about 3 months now--it's amazing all extra time I have found! I'm moving in a month and I am considering staying without one after I move. I have also cut down my time reading the news online and have noticed my mood is much better.

Have a nice break to those who are taking one.

We don't watch tv here either. Watch movies on occasion which gives me time to read, crochet or knit. If one prioritizes one's time, makes a list and follows it, everything gets done.

I do understand the addiction of the computer though. Sometimes ya just gots to get OFF it. Problem for me is, my work is here (on the 'puter). My site, podcasts, new UStream show, marketing, etc.

I often have to shut down the sound so I don't see/hear email or shut down browsers so I can focus on stuff I'm writing.

Yup! I understand the need to get off the computer!!!!

Best to ya Katch!!!

Well have a great year. I admire that you are establishing your priorities. While you are pursuing your bible studies please remember us in your prayers: we will do the same.

All of the best,

I'll miss your posts but I respect your desire to make more time for other things!

I'm with Revvell - I'm usually doing at least three things at once and get bored easily if I'm NOT doing at least three things at once, though, so I'm wired differently than many folks. :D
