Long story short.... was doing really well on raw then mid November something 'snapped' and I went back to SAD. Still trying to figure out what was going on in my head... just so much emotional stuff I think.
SAD. Standard American Diet?.... I call it SAD. Sick and Dead diet.
You name it I ate it. Truth be known I didn't even enjoy it. Made me feel like crap. BUT, that being said, it also drove home just how wonderful raw really is!!! :D :D
I'm back (no.... not just 'cause it's New Year's Day...) and totally committed.
Question. I have some serious problems with my one hip/leg/knee (docs don't have a clue what's wrong... test after test after test....)
One wrong move and I can't even walk for days. Gotta say, while on raw I did go from barely making it from couch to washroom without a cane to being able to hobble around the house without a cane!!! Not only that, I was taking 2 Tylenol 4's every four hours and am now totally free of that junk. Being on SAD has gotten me back to taking the odd Tylenol 1's, so that's another reason for coming back to raw. I don't EVER want to get back to my Tylenol 4 'addiction'.
You don't know how awful it is to be immobile until you experience it.
I'd like to add exercise but like I said, one wrong move and I'm screwed. Can't leave the house 'cause I can't take the stairs. It can take as long as 10 minutes to make it down 4 stairs. Biking is out. Walking is difficult and I'm pretty well restricted but do try to walk around the house as much as possible.
Anyone got any suggestions for exercise? Sometimes other people can see the obvious that we ourselves can't.
