I mean like from ordinary trees upon the street etc.Raw,like taking a leave from a tree & eating so,uncooked?

Yeah, but only in the spring when they are young and tender. Some leaves aren't eatable though so I don't eat just from any tree.

I ate many things outdoors before the snow....not tree leaves though. I woul need to be more informed which ones are safe.

linden tree leaves are ok and have young leaves for the better part of the year. not now though probably. if you want to know about safe plants, go to www.pfaf.org. great resource. i think chimps etc that eat leaves have an instinct about it that we have lost, so i dont think its safe to just go eat leaves without identifying them and finding out if theyre safe first, same as its not safe to just eat random plants without knowing what youre eating and if its safe.

Most towns spray for catepillars and other insects so be careful.
