what vita-mix model?

So I'm looking to start saving for a vita-mix but I have no idea what model to get. There's the vita-mix 5000....I don't want a 4500 because of the 2 speed limitation.....but then there's the vita-prep models and a few others as well. Anyone have opinions on what the best model for the money is? I suppose it seems the 5000 would be due to having the 7 year warranty.

It took me 2 weeks to decide which blender to get. I was going back and forth between all the Vitamix models and the Ktec blender. But I just finally ordered a Vitamix 4500. I'll let you know how it works. I did a lot of reserch and finally came to the conclusion that all the different speeds aren't worth the money and are hardly used.

i don't know which one, but it sounds like you want the 5000. get the one you want.

Since you'll only buy one VitaMix in your lifetime, I'd go with the 5000. That's the one I'm saving up for! ;)
