My boyfriend baught me the Montel Williams version of the Health Master for Xmas. I am planning on doing a 92 Juice Feat inspired by Angela Stokes. Do I need to strain my juice with this blender? I am so confused on what is appropriate as far as the juice feast goes. Angela says to rid all pulp from your juice. If the pulp has been liquified and no longer exists as a solid, does this count? Someone save me from myself!

you need to get rid of the pulp. that means you need a nut mylk bag (or a paint strainer bag from a hardware store). place the blended mix in it and squeeeeeeeeeeeeze till there's no more juice left in the pulp.
drink the juice!
and it isn't angela stokes who started that juice feast... she was following david's protocol. you can read an interview with him here (http://www.timelessspirit.com/JULY08/interview.shtml).

Hello Peeps...
So the only reason that you're straining it because you plan to just take in juice only? If you haven't started the juice feast yet, then why don't you do a test juice and tell me about the consistency---I'm just curious about the Health Master and how well it really liquifies you know what I mean... like if I want some apple cranberry juice (which I usually make a huge container of at a time because it goes so fast) and decide to use the Health Master vs my juicer, will it still have the consistency of a juice or will I feel as if I'm drinking applesauce.... I'm just curious to know how well it blends....
See ya later...:)

applesauce... i can tell you that now... cause if the pulp is in there... it's in there.
my vita mix doesn't make my smoothies the consistency of juice... so how could any other blender do that???

Short phone post ok?
I have the HM and it makes it all smoooth! But it's thick. You are blending not juicing. You really should do a smoothie feast or get a juicer for a juice feast. I LOVEy HM blender. I upgraded to the full 2hp and it's wicked!!!!

Thanks this is exactly what I needed to know. I was concerned that it would be thick. I will not even take the thing out of the plastic. I am sending it back tomorrow. I already have a blender where I have to strain out my pulp. I am going to invest in a mastification juicer. I also already have a centrifuge juicer. I just like appliances, but only if I am actually going to use them, lol! I have already read the link, but thanks. David didn't inspire me...Angela did! It's cool that he inspired her though, but she has inspired me. I guess I can relate to her better. Maybe it's a girl thing?!?:D

David created the 92 day feast. Angela just did the feast with his guidance. ;) And yes, she's very very very inspirational - I agree completely!
I love both my Champion and my Greenstar... if you can afford it, go for the Greenstar!

@ Aleesha---I'm suspecting applesauce too. I'm sticking with my old faithful power juicer. It might be a good blender for my sister...??
See ya
