pulled up the beet, had to wipe away the snow:)
The greens are all limp and weird, tried a nibble - they had the texture of like seaweed.....thick, chewy,
Still good to eat?

welp nobaody got back to me on this, so I figured the greens weren't getting any younger....
Smoothied it up with some orange and banana. Not the tastiest, but the oranges weren't very good, so If I don't post again - I've been killed by deadly wilted seaweed beet greens....

I imagine the beet greens were a bit like thawed frozen kale right? I don't think they would have spoiled out in the cold; just broke down the cellular structure as though in your freezer.
I have to pull my cover now that the snow has stopped and see how the mustard greens and beets look. Probably a loss. But that's ok, I am now harvesting the indoor kale and mizuna.
