I have some date/brazil nut cookies in the D - also onion bread....
Any probs? Taste transfer of onion to the cookies?

I haven't had a problem with such. Let's see what happens.

I usually have my dehydrator stocked full with sweet and savory things and have never had any issues with flavors mingling, even with wet and/or spongy things.

I don't mix the two anymore, at least not at the beginning when the smells are the strongest. I had 2 trays of my favorite brownie bites in the D. The brownies only needed a few more hours when I put 3 trays of kale in. (The plain variety w/olive oil, yeast, and salt). The brownies took on the skanky flavor that you can smell when the kale is just starting to dry. I ate some of the brownies anyway, but they were a big disappointment. The kale was fine.

Technically the D is forcing thingsto come out of the food so flavors shouldn't be able to get from one item to the other as the moisture is extracted and exhausted through the front.
