Has anyone soaked Irish Moss less than 24 hours and had good results? I don't want to wait.... :o

What are you making? :) If you soaked some extra you could try a test blend. It you blend some with water(or whatever recipe calls for) and it blends up smooth and thick, then I would guess you are good to go.
I've read conflicting instructions on how to soak and store. One book said soak for 12-24 hours, drain and store in fridge w/o water. Another book (Sweet Gratitude) says to soak at least 24 hours and store in fridge in the soaking water for up to 7 days. Both books say NOT to rinse after soaking.
I compromise by soaking exactly 24 hours, drain, and store in jar in fridge w/o water.
