Hello from Tim in St. Louis. Just started the Raw food thing today. Not sure if my wife will go along with it or not, but she said she'd try. My eating habits before tonight are terrible. I'm ready for a change for the better! I was really intrigued when I started reading about Raw, and a doctor friend of mine does it somewhat, and he suggested that I look into it. So hear I am glad to be here!

BTW, I hope this posts in the right forum...

Do you have Alissa's book?

Well I can't thank you enough for the support )Sweetgoddess) & (Walking on Water). I'm anticipating needing some :). Also, the book/DVD should be here today or tomorrow, and I can't wait to read through all of it. I understand the one day at a time thing as well. That's about the only way I''m sure people can do this.

Welcome Tim to an exciting lifestyle. My husband will not eat this way either. I fix mine and he can grill his, sometimes I cook him something. Mostly I have been keepng it simple since I work full time. He will eat some of the raw things I make. Maybe when she sees that delicious slaw, she will partake in more all the time. That's what I'm hoping for mine too. Good luck! Alissas book is full of encouragement and information. This board is too. Don't be afraid to ask. People here are great. :D

Welcome Tim...wishing you and your wife the very best on your new journey.
Your food prep can be as simple or as fancy as you like. My advice is to eat as much raw as you want at first.... Also smoothies are great in the morning w/greens added, ie..spinach........you never taste them and it ups your green count which is very good for you. You will get all the support you could hope for on the forum, there is tons of info here too~ *s*

Well thank you all for the nice comments and suggestions. They will be helpful as I look forward to the next 30 days, which I've committed to a 100% Raw food diet. Thanks again. Tim
