Hi everyone,
I just want to share the experience I had today eating at San Diego's Raw Restaurant, Cilantro Live. It was very tasty. I got the sampler platter that included nori rolls, a salad, spring roll, sundried tomato with I think ground up pumpkin seed in the center, little pizza's on flax crackers and then a banana pie. My boyfriend had a great enchilada with I guess dehydrated corn tortilla, raw corn, bell pepper, mushrooms, avacado with chipotle sauce on top. His desert was ice cream (not Dairy) and it was delicious. The presentation was amazing. The menu said nothing had been heated over 115 degrees, so everything they make is considered Raw. It was about 3 in the afternoon and the place was getting pretty crowded. It isn't in the nicest area of San Diego, but I think they do pretty well. After that we headed over to The Optimum Health Institute in Lemon Grove and we were just in time for their Sunday Tour. We got to stay for dinner and we had an array of sprouts. Mung bean, lentils, sunflower, and alfalfa. It was really great! I think many people are there to heal from what they call, "health opportunities. They teach people how to make all these foods. How to sprout, dehydrate, grow wheatgrass and you can stay there for 1-3 weeks. It was actually pretty affordable. I had such a great time there, I might go for at least a week to regroup. Anyways, I had such a Rawsome day, I wanted to share it with you all.
Hope you all had a great day as well,
