Hey so I have two packages of nutiva hemps seeds in my fridge. One is open and one is not. The "best before date" was from like last Tuesday. I hate to throw them out... But not really trying to get sick either :) do you guys think the unopened ones might a least still be good?

I am sure there is a pretty big cushion on those best by dates, especially on something as nutritious as hemp seeds. Go for it.

Hey PDA, I just read a few minutes ago that they have a pair of Baldies nesting over by
Twin Lakes. I've been wanting to ask you too, are you related to a Fred (that is if your last name is part of your member name)?

I'll cast another vote for eating them up. On a side note - I toss all things like that in the freezer and call it good. Then I take out enough for daily use (I put hemp seeds in my smoothies) - perhaps 1 cup or so.

Ahhh streetsurfer ~ Twin Lakes, now I'm homesick! I'm from McHenry which is NW of Chicago, just a few miles from the WI border.

You are? Small World in both directions here. Oh sure, I know McHenry. Were at the edge of A.H./Palatine. I'm sorry though. I was referring to a shopping center in Wichita where PDA is listed as from, which was my hometown and my dad now lives just across the small lake those eagles are likely getting their sushi out of. I think they were old sand quarries. I did some hauling out of quarries and asphalt plants in McHenry/Grayslake area. Lived in Ingleside for a stint. So, you love the John Prine song Lake Marie?

Years ago, we'd go eat at a restaurant in Palatine, St. George and the Dragon...ah memories :) Well - oops! I thought you were talking about Twin Lakes in WI. We logged in many swimming hours there. Okay - I had to look up J.Prine on YouTube - enjoyed it very much! *Ü*
