Yeh sometimes ya need a boost. Whenever I try to focus too hard I hear a kerplunk and my brain coughs a plume of exhaust. What raw foods would you (yeah, you) recommend for increasing mental alertness?

P.S. It may not appear so, but on the Molecular Level, that horse is actually a pretty busy beaver.

I just stumbled across one! So like I made a smoothie with fruits and cacao and my attention span is second to none. Plus my tastebuds are all tucked in nighty night here we go:

And oodles and oodles of love for just being able to wake up every morning and live life everyday to the fullest! I just so look forward to bed just so I can wake up another day and share a hug with my whole raw family!

Bananas and dates blended with water, with a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom. I drink this as my "latte" on those mornings when I need a boost! Kapow!

Cacao kills me. Or... kills other people vicariously through me. Uses me as its weapon! I could always blame my latest Dauntless Diva post tonight on Cacao... since I had a whole freaking bar of the stuff before going to see Avatar.
That's right - I'm righteously pissed off because of Cacao, and not because there's a legit reason... right? ;)

Maca. Also, it's an aphrodesiac (probably because you are so jolted awake and clear)
Durian. It is mind altering. Also reputedly an aphrodesiac..but it makes you feel so, so mellow and dreamy..a little smeary too.
Cacao I have to use cautiously.. funny that sad chocolate never made me feel like gnawing my jaw off.
I wonder what other mind altering herbs and fruits/vegetables we are missing out on.

Coconut oil and hempseed oil. Each oil will increase brain growth 3%, working synergistically to create 6% growth. Good for improving brain function, too.
At least that is what I was told in a local raw food class. Don't know where the teachers got that statistic from. I believe it because a few weeks before this food class I took the test for a Census Bureau job. Before the test I gave some thought to what food made me feel mentally sharp. Intuition told me to eat lots of hempseeds on a salad. It worked!
