WOW!, I had some extra time today, so I made a smoothie with a lot of ingredients.

First I juiced some carrots and apples. Then I added the carrot and apple juice to my blender. I then added bananas, fresh pineapple, spinach and frozen peaches.

YUMMY!. The best Ive made so far for sure.

Carrot Juice
Apple juice
Bananas
Pineapple
Spinach
Frozen Peaches

Whats your favorite?

So funny you posted this, I was going to post today about this morning's smoothie - I think it is my favorite of all time, and really simple. I'm broke right now, so it is without my usual frozen berries or pineapple or agave or whatever. Anyway -

chia seeds
spoonful of coconut oil
handfuls of spinach
4 bananas
2 apples

I make a ton and bring half with me for lunch. Something about it is just so tasty today! Boutenko was right, (for me) simple is better.

My absolute all-time favorite after over a year of Experimentation is still just this:

1 orange
2 bananas
2-3 c. spinach
1 T honey
2-3 c. water

It never fails to make me sit back and go, "Wow, Yummy... WOW!"

I too made a delicious smoothie combo this morning;)

Juice
2/3 c cranberries
1 medium beet
2apples

Place the juice in a blender and blend with 9 strawberries...

This was so delicious I could just feel all of the antioxidants permeating my tongue and body.

My favorite green smoothies are those I put a variety of tropical fruits in - so good! Banana, mango, papaya, pineapple, etc. I put in a lot of greens (I fill the blender to the top with spinach, 1 dark leafy green variety, then an organic lettuce mix and blend those down so I have room to add the fruit). *Ü*

I'm loving smoothies made of :
2 oranges (juiced)
2 grapefruits (juiced)
cup of frozen blueberries
1 small frozen bananna
dash of cinnamon
if not sweet enough, I add a bit of agave or stevia
YUM

I just made my our first green smoothies with our new Vita Mix and they turned out great! Got the thumbs up from my 10 year old. Unfortunately I didn't measure so I'm not sure all of the true amounts.

Kale - I'd guesstimate at least two cups, probably more
Frozen organic strawberries - a bag, Trader Joe's brand
Frozen mango - maybe a cup and a half
1 refrigerated banana
2 squirts of Whole Foods brand Raw Agave
2 cups of water - because I didn't thaw the fruit and didn't want to blow up my new Vita Mix!

YUMMM!! We're so happy! I'm thinking if I had used another banana or two we wouldn't have needed the agave. But for our first smoothies ever, these were AWESOME! :D:D

I'm going to try out some of the ones you all have posted! Thanks for starting this thread Jeffrey!

Mine is so, so simple and delicious. Throw a bunch of kale (stems removed) into a food processor so they are chopped up real fine. Transfer to a blender and fill with water to almost the top of the greens. Now throw in 3 bananas, blend and you're good to go...so delicious.

Oh yea, I've had that nonstop for I don't know how many weeks now. Except I don't remove the stems, something I read about the silica in the stems. I just throw it all in my Vita Mix and it comes out yum! I like yum! :D

I had only tried and used one kind of smoothie (mango, pineapple, cherries, cilantro, spinach/chard, Chia, and Stevia)
I liked it, so I would do it everyday, and never tried anything else, I guess I was scared I wouldn't like anything else.
BUT.....yesterday, I tried Apple, Pear, Frozen Banana, Cilantro, and Spinach, and OH MY, it was SOOOO good, it is now my new favorite ;)
I need to learn to get out of the box and experiment, look at what I have been missing!!!!
