hi, i hope i am allowed to start on the 30 day challenge in the middle of the month. i don't want to procrastinate until january 1.
just want to walk with others on this road.
i guess since i don't have any greens in my house, today i will just stick with fruit.
4 cups of mixed tropical fruit
lots of water
and go shopping for lettuce
and beg my hubby for a vitamix

so maybe i was supposed to post my food at the end of the day?
i changed my plan and had instead
1 pkg dried pineapple
1 pkg dates
we went to a christmas caroling thing and there was some good-looking food after...boy, i said to my hubby, maybe i could start raw tomorrow instead...thankfully the potato stuff that looked so good was mostly gone and the line was long so i just skipped it. that was God doing for me what i could not do for myself! :)
since i am a type 1 diabetic and need to know carb grams for insulin dose purposes, i weighed out a bunch of varieties of frozen fruit today in 30g servings so it will be much easier to grab so i don't have to use so much dried fruit.
thinking today i would really like to make something...but not enough time so maybe another day.
question- after making for example, chips or burgers or some other dish, can they be preserved by freezing (or some other method) or not? as in, could i make a large amount and then save for future use since it takes so long? i am sure frozen or dried is not as good as fresh but i gotta be practical...
thanks,
tash

Burgers and other foods like that freeze very well, as do pates and pesto and things made with dry fruit, like desserts, though I imagine you don't do much of that.
