Eyesight on Raw

Hey,

I heard some people talk about improving their eyesight on raw. I think Alissa mentioned it in her video and I read a thread here about a poster improving his eyesight to become a firefighter.
I was just wondering has anyone else had similar success? If so what level were they before you went raw and how are they now? Did you have to do exercises to help improve your vision? Did you go without glasses while your eyes were improving?

Lately I've had the urge to take off my glasses and look without them and I do think my eyesight has gotten better, but it feels if I leave my glasses on nothing will change.

I believe David Wolfe said that he once juiced Feijoa (Pineapple Guava) and maybe some citrus fruits and noticed an immediate improvement in his eyesight. Another bit that I heard from Victoria Boutenko is that if you wear glasses it makes your soul think that your vision is fine (when its not) so your eyes will calcify at a normal rate... which is not good... or some shreds. Maybe you can wean yourself off the glasses if you have trouble without them?

I only wear reading glasses and somestimes I can see with 125 and sometimes I have to up it with 150. If I needed to wear glasses all the time....I would wear them. If you don't need Glasses anymore.....your eyes and head will tell you. You will notice you are seeing better without them or you will began to have headaches.

One way to find out how your eyes are doing is to go have them Checked. And that's a note to Myself....I need to do it also. Patience is also a Verture.

I had my annual eye exam a couple months ago and my new prescription for my contacts is weaker, not stronger (as it typically was).

I cannot tell you the numbers as I didn't ask. I could feel that my eyes were changing and I was hoping it was for the better - ha!

I recall Matt and Angela Stokes did a YouTube video about this. Angela gave the site where you can order glasses very inexpensively and she was going to order them weaker (and then progressively weaker...weaker).

I have been experiencing worsening vision. Or so I assume. Things just not so clear and thought I maybe needed a stronger prescription. It may very well be my contacts are too strong now. This happened to me before pre raw. I went in complaining of poor vision and it turned out I needed less correction. I will be getting them tested in the next couple weeks so will let you know.

Astigmatism aside, the distance between the front and back of the eye and focii is what determines your prescription. We know that eating rich foods causes fluid retention in other parts of the body. So why not the eye too? I'm not saying I believe it. But it seems plausible. The proof is in the testing. It's why we have eye charts. lol
