Alright, so let me start off saying I am 21 year old male and I have been eating quite healthy for the past 2 years. I am not a Raw Food eater, but rather I eat mostly organic food and healthy food. I drink only water and organic milk. I haven't had a soda in 4 years and rarely drink Orange juice or fruit juices unless they are freshly made. I drink alcohol maybe 1-2 times per month and its usually only a beer or two. I don't eat sugary foods and cookies and chips either. I also exercise massively(weight lift 3-4 times per week + basketball or cardio 3-4 times per week) But recently I had a concussion from football and I went on a binge eating streak due to my inability to concentrate or think for 2 weeks. I ate sweets, drank sodas, had beer and chips and cookies, ribs, veal, and steak. My stomach started making all these growling and rumbling noises. 2 days ago I decided to get back to normal and had 3 pears made it into fresh fruit juice. I had diarreha twice following it and then I went back to normal. However, I also had oatmeal, apples, and ALOT of water. I also had an entire bottle of G.T. Kombucha Raw and Organic drink.
The question is that I am peeing massively(every 45 mins to an hour) and its not small amounts, its regular amount. Also, My bowel movements are a bit up. After anything I eat(as in even granola bars and yogurt) I have bowel movements. But its not constipation, and it usually takes me 30 seconds to finish. Its healthy looking too. I usually have bowel movements in 30 seconds to a minute, but I never really thought of it. If I am peeing a lot and having quick fast bowel movements after eating, what does it mean?

It means you're healthy and your body is doing what it's supposed to be doing.

So I am supposed to go a lot if your healthy? I am in college and it seems like I go more than anyone else. Granted, they all eat McDonalds and KFC all the time, but if I have 4-5 bowel movements per day and urinate around 6-7, thats healthy? I literally have bowel movements 2-3 minutes after I eat.

I think your body is just working harder at eliminating the animal proteins it hadn't been used to processing at such a large rate. Stay well hydrated to assist it. Since you recently had a concussion, you ought to also bring it up with your neurologist.
Also consider that you just went through a major trauma and as a result you are going through a major healing. Since elimination is one way our bodies get rid of debris left over from the healing process, increased elimination does not sound so bizarre to me (colds give way to increased mucous drainage which helps carry out all the dead invaders, stomach bugs get purged out one end or the other, as examples).
Though not the norm in society, a b/m per meal is actually healthier than one every day or two.
If you took any medication for the brain inflammation, that may also be an issue.

Yeah, I went to the ER right when I had it, stretcher came and everything. I am fine now though. Is having Bowel movements 4-5 minutes after I eat a healthy sign? Or is it a sign of something else? Because everyone else here in college usually takes 2-3 hours.

I meant, did you tell your neuro about the frequency and urgency issue. Urgency after eating may not be normal, but possibly signs of irritable bowel or colitis. Or from medication? I added to my above post. Did they have you on an anti-inflammatory for brain swelling? From my experience, they can disrupt the healthy function of the gut. Not to scare you though. This may all work itself out in short order. We have a member here who is a nurse I believe and she could probably help you much better with what to expect after a concussion, I bet.

"Everyone else"??? You've checked with them? They probably only go every 2-3 days! I have a bm almost every time I urinate and I urinate a lot.
There's no fiber in meat; your body sounds as though it's functioning at a high rate. Give it time... it'll settle.
Yanno what's interesting? People think what's "bad" to them, lasts forever and the "good" only lasts a short time. Relax. Let your body do what it needs to do while giving it the best fuel it needs to do it.

Ah I see. Yeah I meant my friends by everyone else. I have had a high level of anxiety recently since I have had finals with my injury and my dog in the hospital. So I think that contributes. So a sign that your body is healthy is frequent(not excessive) BM and urination?

Yep! Is for me and I've been around awhile.
I had a client who would go (bm's) once every 3 days or so. When she began going 3 times a day she freaked and went off the food program I'd designed for her. She didn't know that 3 times (at least) was natural ~ just not normal.

Wow, thank you for that. I was freaking out because I usually have 4-5 BMs per day with urination outside of it. But my urine is usually manilla folder color. Can I just ask why its normal to have Bms once every 3 days or so, but natural to have 3+ per day?

Normal because so many eat badly ~ no fiber meaning lots of meat and very little in the way of raw fruits and veggies. Natural meaning little to no meat and lots of fibrous fruits, veggies and greens.

I see. So then basically its like in and out? By eating fibrous fruites, veggies, greens, oats, and drinking water, the food goes in your system in short of amount of time? This leads to having numerous bm's and short duration between meal and bms? So basically, the more times you have bms, the shorter time it takes after meals, and the shorter it takes to finish a bm means your healthy?Sorry, I am brand new to all this.

You've got feces inside of you from past meals so, you're probably not eliminating what you just ate.

Just remember not to blame the healthy stuff when you have problems. Blame the crap food you slammed into your Body, and then get back to the Health Programme. And stick to it, Silly!!! No matter who or what knocks you on the head. ;)
