What is a good, quick, raw breakfast? I used to just have smoothies, and I even started doing green smoothies, but I honestly can't stomach them. I also get bored if I have the same thing everyday, and then I go back to eating unhealthy...I've fallen off the raw-wagon this last month, and I'm definitely paying for it.
Thanks for any ideas!

Go through Alissa's book. ANYthing you see there can be breakfast including lasagna, chili, tort, etc.

Yes. I large slice of torte and a cup of tea make a great breakfast and it is there and ready so takes little time.
Do you have much time to prepare and eat.
I like watermelon for breakfast sometimes but it will not keep you going for long.
You can make a granola type cerial. I make with soaked and dehydrated quinoa and soaked gogi berries with almond milk.
Cut open an avocado and eat with a spoon.
If you are really stuck for ideas just have a lara bar.

Grate one or two apples or process in food processor for a second. Add cinnamon and/or raisins. It's delicious!
Banana whips are great and you can't go wrong with a fruit smoothie.

Fresh fruit, for sure. You can keep eating tons of fresh fruit throughout the morning, until your lunch salad. Just be sure to space different kinds of fruit 30 minutes apart if possible. And eat melons separately. Fresh fruit is the most cleansing food on earth.

I'm one of those people that can't handle heavy foods or greens in the morning. Give me fruit or a fruit smoothie. When I want something special it is a fruit salad, lately it has been an orange, apple, cranberries, agave, and walnuts chopped in the food processor. It stays fresh for several days. When I'm tired of eating it I put the leftovers in a green smoothie for lunch.
Weekends I like to have something extra special and call it brunch, usually involving nut milk. Either a bowl of raw granola type cereal with almond milk or a nut milk/frozen fruit or cacao smoothie.
I always have 2-3 jars of granola on hand. *Ü*

I like grawnola with almond milk, almond butter & cocoa milkshake, a big slice of any fruit pie (blueberry and apple are two of my favorites), a young coconut based smoothie, green juice, or just munching on fruit all morning.

i feel really well nourished when i have salad for breakfast. Sometimes I will have it with tea or with almond mylk as a drink or sometimes i will eat a banana with it or on top of it and sometimes i also have a smoothie with it.
One of my new favorite breakfast foods is a light smoothie made with sesame mylk, green powders, maca, carob, a little kale and a date. This smoothie combination provides a good amount of fiber with just the right amount of nutrients and substenance to energize and and make me feel balanced.
Lately I've been noticing that having fruit smoothies in the morning kind of gives me a slight runny nose so hence I've been experimenting with the smoothie above.

Lol I agree! Thanks so much everyone. I hope this helps me stay raw. I feel so much better when I do, and eating cooked food totally brings my spirit down.
Thanks again!

Thanks you guys for the kind words!!! :o
My smoothie that day was:
10oz H2O
Handful of Spinach
2 Frozen Bananas
Handful of Frozen Mango
***The key for me is putting my Spinach in 1st and letting it blend before adding the Fruit. I don't have a VitaMix, so by putting the Spinach in 1st it really helps to create that Smooth Texture we all want! :)

Occasionally I like to mix 1/2 C. walnuts and 1/2 C. pecans in the food processor with just enough dates to make the mixture crumbly but moist. Then I put half in a bowl with a cup of blueberries on top and pour on some thick vanilla spiced almond mylk. It reminds me of oatmeal.
Most days though I just have fruit or I mix chopped bananas with blueberries and top with some of the vanilla spiced almond mylk for breakfast.
