On a food guideline someone gave me about healthy oils...coconut was one of the healthiest. The information I received said that the fat in the coconut oil could not be stored (in us), but actually helped us burn stored fat.....I WANT SOMMA THAT! ;) Where do I find it?? Is that true??

I buy a gallon of centrifuged virgin coconut oil from
for about $65 delivered
I found that I liked the taste and consistency of the centrifuged oil much better than the traditional. Coconut oil is solid unless the temp of the room is slightly warm. It works well in many recipes and is tolerable if just taken straight from the spoon....

I just wanted to tell you all that I'm leaving the board. If you'd like to contact me, please do so at firstname.lastname@example.org OR email@example.com
I mostly use Tropical Traditions
They've got a sale going on right now.
I've also gotten some from Coconut Oil Online
They used to be cheaper but have raised their prices.
And of course Alissa has some on her site. I've not tried that kind but others here have said it's great.
If you have a local Indian groceries store check there. i buy brand Laxmi $5 per quart. Great quality and non-refined.
