Nutritional Yeast Question

Is there a raw alternative to nutritional yeast? Something that mimics its "cheezy" flavor?

Many make chessy saucy options from soaked and food processed cashews plus seasonings;)

Interesting! what kind of "cheesy" seasonings do you use?

Ummm :o I like Nutrtional yeast when RAW or not and count it as an acceptable transitional item for my intake:D

But I have used the cashew option when trying to make a chessy sauce for RAW angel hair pasta made from zuchini. I remeber using lots of garlic a pinch of curry and sea salt.

I know there are some better cheese recipies in Alissa's book or in this site ( w/ pics even). Did you try using the banana to search?
