Ive been having skin issues for a long time now and i think the longer its lasting the more it hurts and feels as if this going to be a part of my whole life. For the last few months i have been trying to do a low fat diet, as ive heard this should sort out my candida issues, unfortuantely ive had problems with this as ive been struggling with going to the toilet (made a couple of threads on this). Anyway ive introduced some fat in again like coconut oil and chia seeds, i seem to be going to the toilet again which im happy with, but now i dont know where to head to clear my skin.......

I dont seem to be able to do low fat as theres defiently an issue if im not going to the toilet right, i cant do high fat (which is the other diet ive read about to cure candida) as i know this makes my skin worse (the likes of cod liver oil, avavados worsen my skin).

Will a mix of lots of fruit and some fat work? I dont feel particularly convinced right now and starting to feel more and more unhappy as i just dont know where the fix is going to come from. I absolutely detest the acne issues i have, but also the skin on my face is so flaky, itchy at times, plus i am sneezing loads now. I think the sneezing depends on what i eat but so far i havnt been able to work out what causes it and what not........

If I were you, I would look at eliminating certain food groups and see if you can isolate if any food is aggravating your problem. Citrus is a big culprit for allergies, as are the nightshades (tomato, peppers, eggplant, potatoes). Of course dairy but I am assuming you are not eating any dairy. Also certain nuts are notorius. The quickest way would be to go on a very simple diet of non-allergenic fruits like peaches, or maybe do a juice fast, for a few days and see if you improve. Then slowly, one at a time, add in foods and keep scrupulous records of how you react. I haven't heard of candida causing any skin problems beyond foot fungus. So I would suspect allergies.

Try food enzymes too, that has been helpful for some people.

I tried burdock root supplements a couple of years ago, they didnt do much to help im afraid. Not sure if it would be more helpful in food form but could be worth a try to add to the diet.

Long-term skin issues are usually related to digestive issues which is confirmed when you mentioned candida and other symptoms. You'll need to work on healing that. Nothing else will work for you until that is resolved. You shouldn't need to be on a strict diet, but possibly a modified raw one. Various cleanses such as a magnesium oxygen cleanse, juice fasts, colonics, etc. can be very helpful. In addition, you should take high quality, professional strength digestive enzymes and probiotics. If you list your diet here (or email me), I can give some suggestions as I've dealt with these issues myself.

Susun Weed stated in one of her videos, that the herbal supplements do not have enough of the herbs in them to help. She recommends using the actual herbs or roots and making a strong tea and then using that. she has videos on youtube, if you are interested.

I've heard a lot of people say high greens in their diet helps their skin immensely.
