Okay, I am grumbling this morning, just be warned!

I am doing the thirty day challenge, but have actually been 100% raw for about two weeks now (I started at 100% a few days early).

I have a LOT of wieght to lose, but also have some MAJOR healing issues to deal with too. I guess I am just being impatient and wanting results that are not realistic, but I am getting SO impatient for these pounds to start coming off!

I know everyone says that healing comes first and so a lot of people don't lose weight for a while, but ARGH.... I wish I would feel a difference! Yes, yes, I know I am beign ridiculous. I DO feel better and have more energy on the days that I am not detoxing. I do also FEEL a difference in some of my clothes.... just no difference in measurements and I am sure no difference on the scale(I am not weighing til 10/1).

Well, thanks for letting me vent folks - I am probalby just being grumpy this morning! :p

I've read a lot of stories over the last month....I think for some, as you say, the body is repairing damage and that takes priority.....hang in there and the weight will eventually fall off. I sent you a note....check your pm's ok?
Hard to hang in there when you feel discouraged but you are doing something so wonderful for yourself. I know so many times, myself included, have said how they wish they felt better, etc...but are unwilling to make the changes needed for that to happen.......you have made them. I say bravo for you!!

I have read so many accounts of the body shifting and reshaping before the numbers on the scale change. And you are absolutely correct that healing comes first. Your body has an internal view that your mind and emotions do not. It will direct its new found energy to the highest priorities first.
Trust your body, for it is complete, while your scale and measuring tape are not. Hang in there! Major internal cleansing and repairing are going on and that can only lead you to a beautiful new place!

Blessings~

I'm one who shifted and re-shaped before weight came off. I lost nothing for 25 days or so. Then, literally overnight, I lost 7 lbs. I knew it right away when I woke up. My body felt different, moved differently. I ran out and got on the scale.

I think Nora said she took 6 months to lose any weight. Hang tight. I will happen.

Have you tried digestive enzyme supplements? I eat them before, during, and in-between meals. I prefer the NCP enzymes from www.1inhealth.com

Have you done any colon cleansing? About 98% of americans are constipated. My favorite colon cleansing herbs are Dr. Richard Schulze's Intestinal Formula #1 and #2.

I do this cleanse twice a year. It is very helpful.
