Well, I just ate a bowl of Alissa's chili with a cornbread recipe I developed (will post it in the recipes section) and that chili was warm and spicy (I warmed it in the crockpot on the WARM setting till it reached 105 degrees). Oh so good and now I am warm down to my toes even on this cold windy night.

I just made ANOTHER batch of Gabriel Cousen's "Chili" recipe... and while I DID enjoy Alissa's, this new recipe was just... whoa - AWESOME!

Old recipe post that has it as the SECOND post.... (http://www.rawfreedomcommunity.info/forum/showthread.php?t=2042)

Alissa's recipe required a few days prep time. I like Matthew Kenny's Chili for a quick fix.

Straining my brain, but I can't think of anything else spicy except chili or enchiladas.

How about

-a pitcher or two of spicy bloody mary's? Alchohol free of course.
-spiced pecans or other nut
-spicy green salsa with corn chips
-jalapeno burgers in a slider size
-the bomb sauce as queso with serrano peppers
-indian masala with vegetables in a cashew/masala/red bell/serrano sauce
-spicy rawfried bean burrito wraps
-marinated portobello fajitas

I could go on..everything I eat is spicy it seems=)

Thick all of the food you posted above sounds sooooo delicious! How do you make your Masala veggies ?

Alissa's Chili is quick if you leave out the barley, which I did. Just a lot of choppped up veggies, and I didn't miss the barley at all this time.

Here is how I do it. I add snow peas, now.=)

While maybe not the prettiest picture I took of this Mushroom Tikka Masala, my new favorite meal--I wanted to show you the creamy insides as well.

It is red bell pepper, vidalia onion (a sweet summer onion) and button mushrooms (of course you could use any veg) in a masala sauce made with-

soaked cashews
red bell pepper
1 clove garlic
3 serrano peppers or cayenne
salt
garam masala powder

I originally intended to add more ingredients, but I taste as I go along and just couldn't bring myself to add anything more to this sauce--it is amazing. Just vitamix it all up, stir it into the vegetables and dehydrate for an hour or more.

Wow! Thick thanks for getting back to me so fast and even including a picture. The dish looks amazing and the steps you gave to prep. it seem like it is easy and fast to do so.
