I am looking for a dairy butter replacement. Before going to raw, I just bought vegan veggie butters.
I am fully aware how to make all these nut butters and they do taste good, but it is not the flavor I am looking for.
I am trying to get something close to the taste of dairy butter or margarine.

Samuel, I have never tried this recipe. I realize it is not a fruitarian recipe, but it sounds like what you may be looking for.
Better Butter
1/2 c pine nuts
2 lemons juiced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c water
1 tsp. sea salt
Blend ingredients well until smooth, add more water if needed. Add 1/2 c coconut butter. Blend well. Pour into jar. Chill in freezer.
It is from "Eating without Heating" by Sergei and Valya Boutenko.

Sounds good to me. I will give it a whirl. I make non fruitarian recipes also. I am trying to convert family members and friends to raw food. Fruitarianism is too extreme for them and they could not sustain on a diet like that. If I can add a couple staples like the dehydrated fries, butter and milk (almond milk), I can possibly convince them that raw is not as tough as they think.
I know raw fries and raw butter should not be a staple, but sometimes you have to what you have to do to satisfy "non-raw" people.

coconut oil and coconut butter are the same thing. Just that when warm it turns to oil and when cold it hardens or solidifies and is called coconut butter.

What would you use the butter for?

It would go great on raw corn on the cob.
