I am going to prepare AlissaÂ’s mock salmon pate and fettuccini alfredo and I have a few questions. Are scallions green onions? Are yellow squash the same as summer squash? ThanksÂ…Â… :D

Yes, scallions are green onions. Not sure about the yellow/summer squash.

I have heard a lot of people call yellow squash - summer squash and vice versa. For some reason or another they seem to have 2 names! So, my answer is, yes, I do believe they are the same thing.
