Well it's been many months now since I originally tried to go Raw. I fell off within a week for reasons I won't go into here....I guess you could search for posts by me if you really wanted to know lol. Anyway, I do think part of it was the innitial excitement and "on impulse" wore off quickly. As soon as I get paid this week I will have money to buy a blender and plan on at least starting a transition to 100%.

I don't think I will start out at 100%. Even though I may have days with it, it won't be planned. My goal is to get to 100% Raw though, I just need to get there at a pace I can stick to. I mentioned the blender because I think smoothies and green smoothies as well will help a lot not to mention the other recipes that need a blender, and I did not have a blender before. I have a food processor but it's not quite the same. So anyway just wanted to say hi and that I'm back. Actually I've been back for a couple weeks now, but I've just been reading and learning again. I also really need to sit down and read Alissa's book, not just the recipes and 4 week plan part lol. Maybe watch the DVD's again too. Anyway I'll see you all around the boards. I saw there was an attempt to plan a Seattle area meeting again, hopefully that's still in the works.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure that my Dad having to have a double bypass in June is definitely pushing me more than ever to make changes. With a family history of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, and diabetes plus me eating garbage for 32 years I think it's about time to make a change before it's too late.
