I love the onion bread but wanted something sweet to
have w/ almond butter. Was messing around in the kitchen
and came up with this recipe.
It is awesome....the batter is pretty yummy by itself~
Rawsome Sweet~Bread
2 c. sprouted wheat
1 c. soaked dates
1/2 c. ground flax
raw honey to tase (I used about 1/4-1/2 cup)
1/2 c. soaked sunflower seeds
2 heaping T. almond butter
cinnamon
nutmeg
celtic salt
Processed the wheat in the food processor till smooth but still very grainy.
Add the dates and other ingredients.
Process till mixed well.
Divide in 1/2 on two teflex sheets, spread flat and as thin as desired.
Wet your hand to make the smoothing of the batter easier.
I left it soft and pliable but firm.
Dehydrate 4-5 hours @ 105 degrees.
Flip and remove sheet.
Dry additional 3 hours or so till as firm as you want it.
Cool and enjoy!
Awesome w/ almond butter and honey...my absolute new favorite.
