Yeah, this thread is great!
I'm helping to organise film and documentary screenings for my local veg society next year and we've been talking about this very same thing so some other ideas will be very handy.

ya i also watched a trailer of Earthlings , but i coudn't watch it
i love animals soo much after 10 -15 sec i stopped the trailer.
if i only see one people do harm to an animal
i will walk to them and give them a really good shake (and a kick them in there balls (if they where men))
they are not human!! they should kill people that are like that !!!!

I was reading reviews on amazon about Earthlings. It was enough reading for me NOT to eat meat anymore. It was sad to read. The one review that keeps in my mind is how they skinned a cow while it was still alive! How painful that must be for those poor animals. They can feel pain just was we can fee painl.

yea they absolutely can feel the pain
i just saw a Delicate Balance - the truth
i was good !! very informative
i think i just became a vegan :) !!!
i will never never ever eat meat ( but that i didn't eat much already )
and never ever drink milk or eat cheese , eggs , butter ,.
this documentary's really help me to get healthy (mostly raw)
first i saw meat and cheese , eggs and cooked food as something yummy( with i now can't believe anymore)
but now i see the animals in pain if i look at a piece of meat , i don't see those things as food anymore .
and what the documentary food inc said : i will vote with every bite !!

anyone see "king corn" ?
The Future of Food, highly recommended.
I hadn't heard of Earthlings before... and just went to their website, but couldn't bring myself to watch the trailer. I know the horrible things that are done to animals, and I don't want that in my subconscious. But I'm glad a documentary like this is out there, so that those that don't know might learn the truth.

A number of years ago I was about to cook some chicken thighs, and as I touched the first thigh to throw it in the pan I was overwhelmed with a feeling of terror, shock, and sorrow...I knew right away that this was the feeling the chicken I was about to eat felt during its horrible life. I have not eaten chicken since. Not only are we supporting the torture of other living beings when we eat meat, but imagine what filling our cells with these horrific vibrations does to a person who eats meat all the time!
I just added a bunch of food related documentaries to www.esoterictube.com and I would love recommendations to more I can add. I already got a few tips in this thread that I am going to add later, thanks!

Documentary wire stole my entire site concept and even stole the design. They also stole the little thumbnails that I make for each video. I do not care much for that site.

That is illegal. Have you contacted the owners and their webhost provider?

No use, the internet is like the old wild west. I don't care enough to do that anyway. I will file this one into the "flattery" file or something.. ;)

It's not like either website is legal/ethical in the first place.

I actually email all producers and let them know that the video is up on the site, they can request it be removed and I will do it instantly. I also provide a link to buy the original DVD or book when available. I have many producers who want me to put their videos up in the site as well, a new raw documentary is coming up soon from a Spanish guy who contacted me.
